Helena was the warden of the Whispering Canyon, and Nick's mentor, before she was brutally murdered by anonymous black-robed figures. At the time of her murder, she was training Nick as her successor. Nick was subsequently framed for the murder and cast out.

History[]

Helena was the warden of the Whispering Canyon. She was present at the jewelled cricket hatching on Nick's sixteenth birthday, and announced that he had been chosen as the next warden, to succeed herself.

She trained Nick for the next few years, until one night she was attacked and murdered by two black-robed figures, despite Nick's best attempts to intervene. Her weapon, the Sword of Silence was taken. Nick was accused of the murder and ultimately cast out of the Whispering Canyon, vowing to find whoever killed his mentor.

If you weren't, I'm pretty sure you would have not felt well, for a little while." / On the warden's house: "You open the door to your room [...] You see the common room area.
