The Dam Top Inn was the hotel the party investigated after docking their lizards on the Toggle Dam. It had the self-confessed "best view in all of Six Rivers",[1] overlooking Beartoggle from 1,100 feet above it.[2]
Description[]
The Dam Top Inn stretched out over the edge of the Toggle Dam, above Beartoggle. Struts supported the building as it leant out over the 1,100 foot[2] drop. The inn was a couple of storeys high. A nice bright sign out front said "The Dam Top Inn" and underneath in parentheses and in smaller text "Not for the faint of heart".[1]
Inside the front door was a very cosy little lobby with a nice plush carpet on the floor. There were various ferns and other plants in the corners. It was very clean. There was wood panelling giving the whole place a strong woodish smell. Overall, a nice, warm, softly lit room. There was a large wooden reception desk at the back with little cubbyholes and keys hung up behind it. A couple of doors led off to the left and right and to the left of the desk, a set of stairs went up and back.[1]
There were eight guest rooms in the inn, each well appointed, with a pretty large bed, which could be booked at the rate of 2sp per night. The party booked the only three available rooms: numbers 2, 3 and 6. Rooms 2 and 3 were on the 2nd floor with one other room, and room 6 was on the 3rd floor. Rooms 2 and 3 both had floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city far below.[1]
The inn proudly offered its guests a warm bath, a well turned down bed and a nice hot roasted ear of corn when you woke up in the morning. Above all else though, it claimed to have "the best view in all of Six Rivers."[1]

The halfling owner told the party that the inn had been in business for 30-40 years, "almost as long as the dam."[1]
People[]
The inn was owned by an old halfling woman, who on the day of the party's visit, was staffing the reception desk. No other staff were apparent.[1]
